Location: North Belfast St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Primary School in North Belfast had a neglected enclosed garden with four vegetable beds. The school’s wish was to revitalise the beds and sow a variety of vegetable seeds for the children.
Location: County Londonderry Glen Playground and Multi Use Games Area was provided through Greencare NW last year.
Location: Newry & Mourne District Daisy Hill Wood, owned by Newry and Mourne District Council and managed by the Woodland Trust, is a main feature on the hill above Newry city.
Location: Down District Project to upgrade the Ropewalk, making it more accessible to a wider range of people including prams and wheelchair users.
Location: East Belfast, Northern Ireland A community vegetable garden was developed at Walkway Community Association through the Greencare III programme.
Location: County Leitrim, Republic of Ireland Blacklion is one of the ten communities participating in the Reconciling Communities Through Regeneration programme
Location: North Belfast Glenbank Community Complex in North Belfast, secured just under £49k from the Alpha Programme and developed a trim trail and recreational area in the attractive woodland surroundings of their Centre.
Location: West Belfast The ‘Garden of Reflection’, at Springhill Park, has transformed what was previously a hotspot for anti-social behaviour into a beautiful landscaped amenity that can be enjoyed by all the community.
Location: North Belfast Groundwork NI has engaged with the community in Tigers Bay over a number of years on a variety of community development and physical regeneration initiatives.
Location: Northern Ireland Groundwork NI has been delivering on Belfast City Council's Bonfire Management Programme for the past five years.
