Groundwork manages and takes part in a number of major initiatives regionally.
Initiatives like these mean we can join up many local projects, helping to share ‘what works’ and make more of an impact on the ground. It also often means helping other organisations and learning from their successes.

Greencare III was a partnership approach to environmental regeneration underpinned by the sustainable development of urban communities of high social and economic need.

Groundwork has joined with Cadbury to help bring their Spots v Stripes campaign to communities across the UK. To create the largest and longest running game ever, Cadbury is inviting the nation to divide into two teams, Spots v Stripes and play all sorts of games in the run up to the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012.
Sharing our Space is a three year, PEACE III funded regional regeneration and peace building initiative. This programme is managed and delivered by Groundwork NI in collaboration with local communities.

In 2009/10 we delivered 136 projects to a value of £3.2m
