Structure & Governance

From a staff of three in 1991, the Trust has grown and now employs 29 full and part-time staff, plus several volunteers. Most staff are based at our Belfast office but we also have satellite offices in both Derry/Londonderry and Enniskillen.

The Director's primary focus is on developing the Trusts strategy, creating external links, partnerships and reporting to the Board of Trustees. In support, is the Assistant Director, who is responsible for Operations and the day-to-day running of the organisation.

There are also four managers, each of whom manages a specific operational team within the organisation – Finance and Administration, Policy and Business Development, Projects and Landscape. The Project and Landscape Teams’ both work directly with customers, funders and communities where we deliver projects. The Finance and Administration team provide the accounting and HR functions to the organisation as a whole.  The Policy and Business Development team is responsible for identifying potential new business opportunities, submitting bids and tenders, and also for developing and delivering the marketing and public relations functions of the Trust.
